Despite a strong portfolio and a commitment to quality, Portland’s previous brand and website did not fully capture the depth of their expertise or the breadth of their services. The challenge was to create a brand identity and digital experience that conveyed professionalism, innovation, and the firm’s deep-rooted connection to the North East.

We aimed to reflect these principles through a modern, cohesive brand identity and a user-centric website design. We developed a visual identity system that combined contemporary design elements with subtle nods to the firm’s strength and power. The logo features clean lines and geometric shapes, symbolising precision and engineering prowess, while the colour palette draws inspiration from the vividness of North East’s industrial landscape, grounding the brand in its local context.
